Humanity is prone to hubris. Like the ancients wanted to build a tower to the Heavens at Babylon, today’s public showmen try to reach Mars, make a ‘Space Force’, and live forever while destroying the planet, promoting a reality-show with a rapist mentality, and while destroying the moral fabric that sustains our civilisation. The ‘God’ complex is always happening when we have good times. Humans are easy to self-delude. Sooner or later these bubbles have to burst. Oftentimes violently as nature balances itself out and nature is rough but just.

So, if my body needs me to change my habits when I’m sick to recover, why do I return to the bad habits when I’m healthy? No one is immune to the tempting ‘sins’ of the good times. I drank soft drinks and coffee to have more energy to work more while causing the opposite. I avoided warm drinks to save time while losing three weeks with the illness I caused. They strive to live normally while everyone is trying to build a tower of Babylon made me err too. We do this in business too. When times are good, we oftentimes:

Your company really doesn’t need to pay the agency’s rent premiums at 5th Avenue to get decent marketing! It really doesn’t need 50 people screwing in a light bulb! And this is exactly what corporations are doing today! Deluded by their grandiosity they go for the solutions that inflate the worse in them. Greed, corruption, envy. If your company in times of crisis requires the following:
Then it is best if you stick to this type of responsible firm behavior when times are good too. Get an automated nonbinding proposal instantly on our "Get Quoted" page. Comments are closed.
